Payment & Fees

I am not a participating provider in any insurance network. However, I will regularly provide you with a statement that contains information necessary for you to submit your claim to your insurer for partial reimbursement, as designated by your insurance plan. Please make sure in advance that you are familiar with your mental health benefits, especially for out-of-network providers, so that you are aware of your insurance plan's rate of reimbursement for my services. For additional information about securing this information from your insurance provider, including questions I encourage you to ask, click here. Please note that clients are billed directly for services rendered and are responsible for payment in full, whether or not their insurance company provides reimbursement.

20-Minute Consultation Call | Free

Finding the right fit for you is an important part of the therapy process. In fact, research identifies the therapeutic relationship as an essential factor in positive therapy outcomes. During our call, we can discuss a bit about what you are seeking from therapy and my therapeutic approach so that we can begin to get a good idea about whether we may be a good fit together.

Intake Session | 60 Minutes $280
Our initial meeting is designed for us to continue to get a good feel for how it is to work together, while talking through aspects of the therapy process and answering any questions you may have. In this meeting, we can plan to discuss your story and the experiences that have brought you here, while developing an individualized plan related to your therapy goals.

Therapy Session | 45 Minutes $210 | 60 Minutes $280
Sessions are primarily 45 minutes in length, though other time options are available. For family and couples sessions, I typically suggest meeting for 60-minute sessions. We are able to meet at a frequency that fits your current needs, though I generally recommend beginning with weekly sessions until you've noticed significant improvements in the areas of your life in which you are wanting to experience change.

Group Therapy Session | $80

Virtual groups provide accessible connection and support from the comfort of your own home. Join with others who may have similar experiences as you, while you continue to navigate life's stressors and experiences. With groups, much like with individual or family/couple sessions, consistency is key when it comes to co-creating a group atmosphere that is cohesive, collaborative, and supportive.

Notice of Good Faith

Under law, health care providers (including psychologists) are required to inform clients who do not have health insurance or who are paying for therapy out-of-pocket that they may request a "Good Faith Estimate" of expected charges for services at any point. You are encouraged and entitled to request an estimate before scheduling your first appointment. For more information or to dispute a charge that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, please visit the No Surprises Act website.

Commonly Asked Questions

Payment & FAQ: FAQ

How do I know if you're the right fit for me?

I invite you to get to know me through a consultation call and, if you'd like to move forward, in working together for a few sessions. I strive to co-create therapeutic relationships that foster trust, safety, and authenticity; where you feel heard, seen, and supported. My goal is to help, so if I'm not the right fit, I will gladly help you find someone more suited to what you are looking for.

How long does therapy last?

The length of therapy depends on many factors, and especially on personal preference. Some individuals prefer to meet for a few months, often focusing on specific stressors or experiences, whereas others prefer to meet for longer, wanting to dive deeper into gaining further understanding of themselves, their experiences, and their patterns. Because your sessions are tailored specifically to you and your needs, we can continually check in about your goals, our pace, and the length of our work together.

What happens if I need to cancel a session?

Your session time is reserved specifically for you, though I understand that life happens and things can pop up unexpectedly. I do ask that you notify me 24 hours or more prior to our scheduled session if you need to cancel. Sessions that are canceled with less than 24 hours are charged the full session fee, except in cases of illness or emergency. However, if we are able to reschedule our missed session for the same week, you will not be charged twice.
